ND GETS SNUBBED FROM COLLEGE PLAYOFF

Notre Dame started the season 0-2 to two top teams in the country. Both losses were under 5 points… COMBINED. The loses were 27-24 to #3 in the ACC, Miami Florida. The second loss was 41-40 To #4 in the SEC, Texas A&M. Notre Dame then went on a 10 game winning streak with teams including their rival USC, Pitt, and Stanford. Here’s where it gets confusing. Notre Dame ended off the season ranked #11 and were thought to be guaranteed a playoff spot. As you already know, Notre Dame is Independent along with Connecticut, not playing a conference championship game. The conference championship games came and went, and the playoff selection was next. The usual teams went by(Ohio State, Georgia, Ole Miss, etc.) At the end, Tulane and James Madison made it, but not Notre Dame. Now that begs the question, did those teams beat good opponents and were they top 12 to end the season? No, Tulane lost to UTEP as well as Ole Miss who they’re matched up with. What was the score? Tulane lost by 35. James Madison? Lost to Louisville. Both of these teams were not top 12 or even top 15! So, do the college football playoff commissioners want the BEST 12 teams or just ANY 12 teams? Because if were going off the actual college football rankings, Notre Dame will play Ole Miss this Saturday, but that’s not the case. Notre Dame was snubbed from the playoffs and Freeman and his guys know it.
